Flint band helps spread national message against drinking and driving

The Flint-based rock group Arazi has been selected from hundreds of other Michigan performers to take part in The Esente Music Group’s campaign against drunk driving.

Esente Music has released a rockers and hip-hop compilation series — 2010 Michigan Rockers — using free digital downloads to raise awareness about drinking and driving.

The group uses social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and blogs to promote their live-saving message on the new CD — all for free to listeners.

Each page hosts various messages about the cost of drunk driving and the prevention of it.   Arazi, along with 20 other state-wide bands, have been selected to help drive the local message home to Michigan.
